On February 19 in Beijing, CNPC and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region signed a strategic cooperation agreement on further strengthening cooperation during the 12th Five-Year Plan period.

The 10Mt/a refining project at Guangxi Petrochemical became operational on September, 2010, and is running smoothly now. CNPC has already determined to build Qinzhou into a large–scale petrochemical base. Guo Shengkun said that Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region will take the signing of this strategic cooperation agreement as an opportunity to provide all-around services to CNPC's development in Guangxi as always, and open up wider business space for both sides.
